These two motorcyclists were almost crushed to death but leapt out of the way after a garbage truck after it rolled back down abridge – straight into their bikes.
The refuse lorry loaded with stinking waste was waiting in rush hour traffic when it tried to drive up the small slope in Nakhon Ratchasima, northeastern Thailand.
But the ageing vehicle’s gears slipped and the driver couldn’t stop it from rolling back into the drivers behind.
Shocking dashcam footage shows the two moped riders narrowly avoid being crushed to death as they leap from off their motorcycle onto a grass verge.
While passengers on the back of a pick up truck directly quickly jump off moments before the garbage lorry hits their van.
Khun Theay, 23, who recorded the smash from his car on Tuesday (Nov 22), said: ”The refuse truck was full of garbage and quite heavy.
”It couldn’t drive up the bridge. The driver tried to but there was some problem with the gears and he fell back.
”The people behind the garbage truck had to jump out of the way. It was scary for them and could have been much worse.”
The white pickup truck behind the dustbin lorry suffered a damage bumper while the moped’s tire was bent.
