Spooked cops leap from their seats in fright after a ‘ghost’ mysteriously opens the station doors.
The officers were working on the graveyard shift when the glass entrance suddenly flung open at 4.21am last Thursday.
Two policemen jump from their seats while another dashes to the front of the building to investigate.
The creepy footage wet viral when cops leaked it online joking that a ‘criminal ghost’ had come back to haunt them at the Bandar Hilir police station in Melaka, Malaysia.
Edmund Kaur said: ‘’Of course, this has to be the ghosts who died in the station, just to tell them they are coming back to take revenge.’’
But station boss Shaikh Abdul Adzis Shaikh Abdullah slapped down his spooked staff and insisted it was a technical fault with the doors.
He said: ”I have confirmed that the doors in the police station opened and one broke, but I have not received any reports just yet.
”The incident may be affected by wind pressure, and I am still waiting for the reports from the policemen present at the scene.’’
A spokesman added today: ‘’We can’t believe how much fuss there has been about the video. If it really was a ghost, I think they would be happy with how many people have seen them.”
