The event was won by Ruethaipreeya Nuanglee, 27, who will now represent Thailand at Miss International Queen 2020 against trans women from around the world.

The 5′ 11” tall (180cm) model, who wore Number 30 in the competition, said the victory was a ”dream ever since childhood” and thanked organisers.

She said: ”Now that dream has come true. Everything has moved so quickly. I am feeling so proud. I am so thankful to all the friends, brothers and sisters that helped me through the difficult times”.

Ruethaipreeya is studying at the Faculty of Liberal arts at the Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. She wins various cash prizes and vouchers.
