This clip pretty much sums up Thailand…
A fruit stall owner pitched up outside 7-11 has their pet dog, a Siberian Husky, perched onthe road in front of them.
The owner, Rinrada Thanoosorn, pops inside the shop to buy some food. Meanwhile, a 71-year-old driver has come along and ran over her beloved dog Jo-Jae.
The police became involved and tracked down the driver, who blamed his dodgy eye sight and insisted it was an accident.
Rinrada blames him and wants to press charges.
Naturally, the CCTV footage of the clip went viral and viewers were split between condemnation of the driver and saying that the dog owner should take more care of her pets.
The conclusion? If you have a pet dog in Thailand, keep it safe as you never know when an old man in a pick up truck is going to come by.
