A stranded driver hangs precariously over the edge of a building after smashing through a metal barrier.
The dustbin lorry driver lost control of his truck and skidded through the metal railing on the third floor of the building in Singapore on Monday night.
With the enormous lorry inches from crashing to the road some 30ft below, he delicately used his phone to call for help.
Rescue workers from the Singapore Civl Defence Force arrived and built a platform for him to open the door and scamper to safety before the truck was towed back to solid ground.
A spokesman for Sembwaste, the company that owns the truck, said nobody was injured and the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.
They added: ”Safety is very important to Sembwaste. At this point it is not clear how the incident occurred. We are investigating the matter and will be working with the authorities in this regard as well.’’
